Thanks to the increasing poverty and unemployment rate caused by the pandemic, people have suffered and some are already resorting to committing crimes just to survive.
But for one Alex Crisologo, having less in her pockets isn’t an excuse to steal someone else’s money.
In one of her Facebook posts that went viral, she shared how she felt so good returning the wallet of a delivery driver.
The driver was identified as Tirso Tecson Plazos Jr. who had around P12,750 and a driver’s license in his wallet.
Luckily for him, an honest Alex picked up his wallet and immediately went to social media to ask for help to locate him.
“May rider po nakahulog ng wallet dito sa may crossing ng District Anabu. Hindi niya napansing nahulog wallet niya. Hindi ko na nahabol. Pakitulungan na lang po mga paps,” she said.

After seeing Alex’s post, Tirso contacted her and the two met.
Alex then thanked everyone who helped her locate Tirso.
“Hindi Ko nman po hangad ang sumikat. sa tulong po ng fb post and share para nabilis agad pag action at makarating agad kay kuya Tirso nawawala ang wallet nya. At un nman po ang nangyari. Naisoli agad po sa kanya At nagkaroon agad ako ng bagong kaibigan.” she said,
She doesn’t care that she went viral. The only thing that matters is that she helped someone that day,
“Tandaan po natin, anoman ang estado natin sa buhay, piliin pa rin nating maging mabuting tao. At huwag mag-dalawang-isip tumulong kung talagang kinakailangan sa malaki man o sa maliit na bagay o pamamaraan, basta taos sa ating puso,” she wrote.
