Daughter chooses her father’s tricycle instad of a bridal car for a heartwarming reason

“Yes, it’s a bridal trike,” Tita Kim started off herviral post.

When most brides opt to use some fancy car to take them to church during their wedding day, the influencer chose a simple tricycle. Not only because she wanted to be unique, but there’s a deeper meaning to it.

“Gusto kong ihatid sa simbahan gamit ang tricycle na naging malaking parte ng aking buhay,” she wrote.

It turns out that the tricycle is her father’s. And it’s the exact vehicle that he used to support his family’s daily needs.

“I wanna honor my Papa on the day of my wedding.”

When they were preparing for the wedding, she said that she didn’t want to make it “fancy”, but for it to represent what she’s been through in life. And she thought about how her wedding is the best chance to express her gratitude to the man that raised her.

“I want him to bring me to church. I want him to drive this tricycle papuntang simbahan bago ako lumakad sa altar. I wanna show him that I am proud of him and that I can never be where I am today without his hard work and support,” she said.

Tita Kim added that she’s really proud of her father for being a tricycle driver and that she’s honored to be the daughter of someone like him.

She doesn’t mind the heat while riding the tricycle as it doesn’t even compare to what her father had to endure just to provide for the whole family’s needs.

“Kahit hindi siya professional na tao, he acted professionally by being a responsible father. Higit pa s’ya sa mga propesyonal na tao by simply being a good man.”

She also gave a piece of advice to everyone reading.

“I hope we do take every opportunity to honor our parents. And to those who have lost their parents, I know up there— they are happy to see you happy! Hindi ka man nila mailakad sa altar, baon mo sigurado ang pagmamahal nila.”
