After announcing that she was moving to ABS-CBN, Janine Gutierrez finally made her Kapamilya debut on ASAP Natin ‘To.
During the show’s 26th anniversary, the star showcased her singing skills by singing a rendition of “No Hearts” by GIBBS. This made people think about Pilita Corrales, Janine’s grandmother.
Comedian and It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda warmly welcomed Janine into the ABS-CBN family by tweeting about her performance on the Sunday variety show.
Vice stated that Janine probably has collected so many flowers from everyone that has welcomed her into the network.

Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid also tweeted about Janine saying that she woke up feeling beautiful until she saw the latter, that is.

On the other hand, Darren Espanto also expressed his admiration for her as he was the one that interviewed her on ASAP’s online show, iWant ASAP.

Other than becoming an ASAP regular, Janine’s upcoming projects in ABS-CBN includes a teleserye under Dreamscape Entertainment and a movie by Star Cinema.
“I have a movie with Paulo [Avelino] which was supposed to come out last year pa but nag lockdown, yung ‘Ngayon Kaya.’ I have a movie with JC Santos naman, yung ‘Dito at Doon’ which is coming out I think in March. So ‘yun ang super excited ako about,” she revealed during an interview with BJ Pascual.
In another interview, Janine expressed her trust in ABS-CBN when it comes to choosing what’s best for her.
“Excited ako kung saan ako ilalagay ng mga Kapamilya directors, writers, kung saan nila nakikita na babagay ako. I know all the Kapamilya shows are talagang magaganda at exciting at quality.”
Janine Gutierrez is the daughter of Ramon Christopher Gutierrez and Lotlot de Leon. Her grandparents are Pilita Corrales and Eddie Gutierrez and Nora Aunor and Christopher De Leon.
