Ogie Diaz, on his YouTube channel, recently revealed that there are two former ABS-CBN artists who have been trying to recruit Kapamilya talents to join another network.
He said the two former artists bare the initials B and M.
“Ako feeling ko Letter B, B as in Bravo. Tsaka M, as in Mama.”
He said that some artists would find it challenging to go back to ABS-CBN once a franchise renewal is granted.
Ogie also said that the ABS-CBN management team is already aware of the rumors.
Kalungkot no.”
Netizens are speculating names of of celebs previously having worked with ABS-CBN.
Big names such as Piolo Pascual, Bea Alonzo, and Julia Baretto already jump shipped after ABS-CBN was denied a congressional franchise to continue broadcasting operations.
In Alonzo’s defense, she is thankful to the Kapamilya network for boosting her career, but believes not everything was just handed to her.
Ang akin kasi, everyone has been loyal to ABS. And, sa totoo lang, ABS was so gracious in giving us jobs, giving us our careers.
“But, siyempre, we also worked hard to have our careers. We also made sacrifices to get here. It’s not like it was just handed to us, di ba?” she said previously.
But the network isn’t dead since it still has KathNiel, Angel Locsin, and the likes of Arjo Atayde.
ABS-CBN currently has a huge deal with TV5, and the A2Z channel doesn’t seem to have any major problems.
All the network is doing now is waiting for the next administration as a new president could mean a granting of a coveted franchise renewal.
