A man in Cebu was arrested after threatening to spread nude photos of a woman he met online.
However it wasn’t his threat that made the case viral, but was his act of ‘catfishing.’
Catfishing in dating terms is when a someone uses photos and media of another person to fool people into believing they are that person.
This act has been common ever since social media became a thing, and it looks like it won’t go away anytime soon.
DYHB Tatak RMN Page on Facebook uploaded photos of a fairly good-looking man and a relatively unpleasant-looking one.
According to the page, the poser used photos of the handsome guy to acquire nude photos of a young woman he met online.
He was so good at pretending to be someone else that he succeeded in getting the unnamed woman to send graphic photos of her to him.

The two formed a relationship at one point, but when the woman wanted to break up, he threatened to leak her pictures.
Based on the post, the woman is a minor. The poser was then arrested and is currently detained.
Netizens couldn’t believe how good he was at pretending that all they could do was laugh.
His real appearance is so far-off from the photos he used that it is actually impressive how he got a young woman to send him nudes.
The man is suffering from a receding hairline with bulging eyes. His mouth is just open which could mean he is a mouth-breather.
