LOOK: Man pretending to be dead arrested after saying it was a prank

A man in Negros Island has been arrested after pretending to be dead.

Radyo Bandera Iloilo on its Facebook page shared photos of an unnamed man lying face down on what appears to be a boulevard.

According to the post, people crowded over the man in an attempt to wake him up.

The man remained unresponsive so a stretcher was brought out as people thought his life was in danger.

All of a sudden the man regaineds his consciousness and shouted, “it’s a prank.”

He then ran away from the scene but was caught eventually and arrested.

He revealed that he got drunk the night before and his friends deserted him by the shore.

Bystanders thought he was really dead the way he acted unconsciously.

The post has gone viral with over 8,000 likes and 10,000 shares.
