The leader in animal nutrition and health care solutions, Univet Nutrition and Animal Healthcare Company (UNAHCO) conducted a one-day demo session to educate backyard hog raisers in Sta. Rosa, Nueva Ecija on the basics of biosecurity to curb the threat of African Swine Fever (ASF) in the Philippines last March 17.
During the demonstration part of the program “Bangon Kaagapay Sanib Pwersa sa Pagbangon,” hog raisers were taught the essential steps on how to properly take care of their pigs and ensure their viability through the implementation of biosecurity and health protocols in their business.
