A soldier had nothing but praise for the health professionals in the country before dying.
Raymond Mercado shared on facebook his most recent conversation with his now-deceased father, Corporal Romelo Mercado.
According to Raymond, Romelo told him that health workers shouldn’t be blamed if he ever dies because they are working extra hard to treat patients.
Romelo told his son.
The senior Mercado asked him to go on social media to show all frontliners love and urge the public to avoid blaming the Philippine healthcare system.
“He asked me to make appreciation post for our frontliners. Raymond wrote.
Romelo was grateful to all the nurses and doctors who constantly checked on him every single day until his last breath.
“SA LAHAT NG FRONTLINERS, TANGGAPIN PO NINYO ANG TAOS PUSONG PAG SALUDO NA NAIS IPARATING NG PAPA KO,” Raymond said.
