Are they broke? Mariel Rodriguez starts meat shop business to pay for children’s tuition

Robin himself recently admitted on Instagram that they have used a portion of their savings to pay tuition fees and that his family too have struggled due to the pandemic.

Veteran TV host Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla has now started a meat-selling business to pay for her children’s tuition.

In one of her latest videos on YouTube, Mariel detailed how everything came about. She mainly sells ready-to-cook imported beef from Brazil and Australia.

She is just continuing what her grandparents excel at doing. Her husband’s TV show which is all about business also lit a fire in Mariel to start a business.

I grew up with my lolo and lola every single day ‘yon and up to this day nagtatrabaho sila, hindi sila ‘yong parang tamad. So kaming dalawa ng sister ko, very goal-oriented kami. Talagang gusto namin mayroon kaming ginagawa,” she shared.

Aside from achieving her long-time goal of being a CEO, her “Cooking Ina Food Market” will also help pay for her children’s tuition, which according to her is a little expensive.

She doesn’t want her husband, Robin Padilla, to shoulder all tuition costs, and selling meat is a good way to contribute.

So nahihiya ako kay Robin.

Robin himself recently admitted on Instagram that they have used a portion of their savings to pay tuition fees and that his family too have struggled due to the pandemic.

He called on the public as well to help the government in “whatever way we can.”

” he wrote.
