Comedia Bearwin Meily has admitted that he’d be dead today if it weren’t for the guidance of God.
In an interview with fellow comedian Ogie Diaz, an emotional Bearwin couldn’t help but cry as he shared how God never left him during his struggles.
“Nalulungkot ako from the past, but where I am right now, it’s really a big blessing compared to others,” he said while crying.
When asked what would’ve happened had he not sought help from God, Bearwin cried again and said he’d be dead.
Bearwin was already facing major problems prior to the health crisis, and when it came, his situation got even worse.
He shed even more tears when he recounted how they had to sell their dream home due to not having enough money to survive amid the pandemic.
“Before pandemic nakabili ako ng bahay.
On the other side, nag-re-rent kami pero hindi kami naghahagilap.
To make him feel good about himself, Bearwin always thinks about all the other people also suffering the consequences of the pandemic.
Being the optimist that he is, Bearwin acknowledges that renting is cheaper than owning a home. In addition, his monthly expenses are much lower now.
The 45-year old can never thank God enough for what he has today.
“People will disappoint you, but God never will.” he said.
Bearwin is currently in the business of selling corndogs. He mans the counter and the kitchen. “Corny Doggy” is located in Taytay, Rizal. Ogie himself said the food is delicious.
