Mom refuses to spend time with son on Mother’s Day, leaves him brokenhearted

A man in Bulacan was left heartbroken after his mom was a no-show on their “date” on Mother’s Day.

People were all over social media showing their appreciation for their mothers on the worldwide celebration. Many spoiled their mothers with gifts and other stuff, while others only shared photos as theirs have already gone to the afterlife.

The mother of a man from Bulacan is also still alive, however, she deemed the holiday a not so important one which left him devastated.

He goes by the name of Ga Ni on Facebook and caught the attention of netizens after sharing how his own mother decided not to celebrate Mother’s Day.

His plan was to go on a date with his mother and surprise her with something special. He said she always wanted to know what it feels like to receive a rose from him.

“…ang sakit sa paki ramdam na tinatawagan ko sya tapos hindi raw sya pwdi dahil nasa kaibigan daw sya ngayon habang nag sasaya naririnig mo nag papatugtog,” he wrote.

But when it was time for him to fulfill her wish, she rejects him. His mother couldn’t go because she was with some friends. She even ended her call with him abruptly.

“…tapos pinapatayan kapa ng cellphone ayaw kang makausap,” he added.

All the planning he did, from working long hours to buying a meal from Jollibee, amounted to nothing.

“nag antay ako ng isang oras galing work walang pahinga para lang ma ei date ko nanay ko ang sakit sa feeling na nasayang ung effort mo para sa nanay mo kasi hindi daw sya pwedi, ”

He revealed that it wasn’t her that raised him, and they rarely see each other. Based on his post, this isn’t the first time she rejected his efforts to spend some time with her.

Netizens felt for Ga Ni and praised his initiative. Some also said that they too do not have the best relationship with their moms.
