Netizens call out the government for treating COVID-19 vaccinations as a “game show” after it is announced that Makati City will implement an electronic randomizer to choose which vaccine brand to give its constituents.
Twitter users express their horror and disappointment regarding how the coronavirus vaccination is being treated in the country.

A few days ago, netizens also reacted to the Department of Health‘s implementation of the “brand agnostic” policy to make the vaccine brands “mysterious”.
According to Undersecretary Myrna Cabotaje, it aims to prevent overcrowding in Pfizer sites like what happened in Manila and Paranaque.
“Dapat sasabihin lang you go [to the vaccination site] and whatever vaccine that will be available, you get it,” she said. “So hindi na i-a-announce na we are now going to give Pfizer, we are now going to give Sinovac, we are now going to give AstraZeneca,” Cabotaje told CNN.
Netizens and personalities disagreed with the decision as it seemed “unethical” to keep the individuals in the dark regarding the brand of vaccine being jabbed on them.
