A netizen has found herself extremely angry after policemen apprehended her and her stroke survivor father for allegedly violating health protocols.
Arleth Villocero wrote a lengthy Facebook post detailing how cops almost took advantage of her for allegedly committing a violation of health protocols.
It all started when they both took a bus to Quiapo since a UV Express wasn’t available. When they got to an area near Capital Inn, a police officer entered the vehicle and asked her for a valid ID.
She complied and got off the bus along with her father. There was no concern on her part initially since she knows she did nothing wrong.
“Mahinahon lang ako, mej chill kasi kampante akong wala akong violation,” she wrote.
Arleth then asked what their violation was, but no answer was given.
“‘yung pulis na kumuha ng ID ko ‘di niya ako sinasagot, pinasa niya ‘yung ID ko sa mga tropa niya hanggang sa sinusundan ko sila tapos nagtatanong ako kung anong violation namin ni papa.”
When she raised her voice, one of the officers said she was wearing her face shield improperly.
“Tapos ‘yung sumagot ‘yung unang pinasahan ng ID ko then ‘yung sagot niya ‘yung face shield ko daw, ‘di maayos. Inexplain ko kung ba’t ganon pagkakasuot.”
Arleth became furious when the officer told her that they should be thankful that they were given a chance.
“pinagbigyan na nga kayo eh,” he told her.
Arleth thinks the reason why the cops let them off is that they saw that her father was a PWD. If her father wasn’t with her then the officers might have imposed a fine, she said.
“So kung ako lang pala talaga hihingian ako ng pera jusmiyo si papa ng nagbabayad ng pamasahe ko.”
She added that the officers still ordered her father to get off the bus despite his condition.
“BAKIT NIYO KAMI PINAGPAPASA-PASAHAN??? TAPOS KUNG MAKABALUKTOT KAYO NG ID KO KALA NIYO SA INYO, BAGO PA MAN DING KUHA YON. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, BAGO NIYO SABIHING BINIGYAN NIYO KAMI NG KONSIDERASYON, NAKITA NIYO NA KALAGAYAN NUNG PAPA KO TAPOS PINAPASUNOD NIYO PA KAMI SA INYO????”
Both father and daughter couldn’t contain their anger as the policemen kept on stalling.
“NANGINGINIG PA RIN AKO SA GINAGAWA NIYO LALO NA SA PAPA KO. KATABI KO SI PAPA NGAYON, HINAHABOL NAMIN HININGA NAMIN SA PAGOD AT GALIT SA INYO.”
