Robin Padilla had feminists disgusted after defending his son-in-law Aljur Abrenica’s cheating on his daughter Kylie Padilla.
In an interview with Ogie Diaz, Robin said the couple split because of a third party.
However, he defended Aljur’s decision to be unfaithful, saying that it is hard for men not to cheat.
“Meron daw, e. E, imposible ba yun? Hindi naman imposible yun. E, lalaki ‘yan.
“Kasi sa panahon ngayon, ‘wag tayong maglokohan. Panahon ngayon, ‘di ako naniniwala na merong lalaki na makakatanggi sa tukso.” Robin said.
He explained that he couldn’t criticize Aljur since he was once a cheater, too, and there is no need for him to apologize unless he physically hurt her.
“Hindi na kailangan. Ang baduy nun! Mag-sorry ka kung sinaktan niya ng pisikal.” he added.
Netizens were all over Robin for rationalizing cheating instead of defending Kylie.
