Enchong Dee sees no reason why a businessman wouldn’t want to invest in a company such as ABS-CBN.
In a media conference, he said ABS-CBN is one of the few companies in the Philippines willing to sacrifice a lot just so its employees can make a living.
“I’ve seen very few companies here in the country that would invest and set aside a certain aspect of the company just so the artists and the production people can continue with their work. That’s what ABS-CBN showed us,” he said when asked why he stayed with the Kapamilya network when other talents have already left.
He underlined the fact that ABS-CBN continues to serve the public despite the shutdown that resulted in billions in revenue loss for the company.
“Despite of all the thing that happened to us, nandyan pa rin sila. Nagbubukas ng maraming proyekto, nagbibigay ng maraming oportunidad despite of the shutdown.“
Because of ABS-CBN’s clear vision and mission, businessmen should not hesitate to invest in the company, the actor said.
“So in a businessman’s point of view, bakit hindi ako tataya sa mga ganung kompanya na klaro at malinaw yung values na pinanghahawakan ng isang kompanya,” he added.
ABS-CBN’s stock on June 30 reached a six-month high at Php13.98. Today, it trades around under Php12.00.
