Shaina Magdayao’s new business was inspired by her experience as a person obsessed with always being organized.
In an interview with RAWR Nation, she said the lockdown made her realize that helping people get organized with their belongings may be profitable.
“I have to thank the Probinsyano bubble because ‘dun nagsimula yung idea to come up with this bag line,
“Nagpacustom made ako ng mga bags for taping and so being an OC that I am, I wanted to make sure that my things are organized and packed really well,
“Nagpacustomize ako ng bags and then pinalagyan ko initials ko,” she said.
Her friend, who is also an OC person, helped her establish ‘Organized Chicas,’ a lifestyle brand that sells bags and clothes made from canvas and linen.

The bags are made for people who want their things organized, such as face shields.
“The core of the brand is the functionality of the bags that we are selling,
“We have pockets measured talaga for face shields. I made sure na sustainable yung fabric so canvas yung napili namin,
“Madali siyang i-disinfect especially during the pandemic It all started 5 months ago and now the brand has become lifestyle brand,
“Kung ang bags namin made of canvas, yung clothes made of linen so it’s perfect for tropical weather,”
Her business also mirrors Shaina—a person who likes the classic look more than the trendy ones.
“It’s an extension of who I am, I guess. Ito yung style ko, I’m not trendy at all. I’m not into the latest trends. I’m actually more into the classic pieces that you can own for years pero maganda yung quality,” she said.
And in a way, the business also helps “fellow Filipinos.”
“This is our way of giving back and helping our fellow Filipinos.
Shaina and her friend knew the idea was perfect because both are all about being organized.
“It’s really my needs. It’s what an OC person needs. We know it too well kasi kami mismo OC,
“We just had to compile all the ideas,
She also did not expect a bag business to catapult into being a lifestyle brand in just five months.
“If the opportunity is there, we’ll grab it. I’m happy dahil maraming nakakaappreciate.” she said.
