Talent manager Lolit Solis says she’ll be voting for former senator Bongbong Marcos in the next year’s national elections.
In a sit-down with writer Allan Diones, Solis revealed why Marcos is her candidate, joking that she too is a thief.
“Loyalista ako eh, Bongbong Marcos ako,” she said when asked about who her presidential candidate is.
She said the Marcos family treated them fairly well when they ruled Malacañang.
“Nung panahon kasi ng mga Marcoses mabait saamin sina Imee Marcos.”
When asked what she thinks about the family’s ill-gotten wealth, Solis joked that she also engages in thievery, “Magnanakaw rin naman ako eh!”
Despite being close with Senate President Tito Sotto, her vice- presidential bet is Lito Atienza.
“Ang tagal ko ng alaga si Lito Atienza kaya ang vice ko si Lito Atienza. Ang number one ko sa senator si Mark Villar.”
She noted that her picks are based mainly on emotions.
“Emotional voter ako.”
Solis also doesn’t care what people think of her choices because she doesn’t think her one vote could make an impact on the 2022 elections.
“Yung isang boto ko ba makakaapekto sa buong Pilipinas? Pribileho ko ‘yun, hayaan niyo ako gamiting pribileho ko.” she said.
