A supporter of presidential aspirant Bongbong Marcos had her wallet with P19,000 in it stolen at the proclamation rally of the former senator.
The victim, Pauline Canoza Cruz, is still having trouble locating her wallet, which contained an amount she was saving up for her children and her birthday.
In a video that captured the theft, a man in a black jacket passes by Pauline and is seen pocketing something.
“Sino malapit sa Philippine Arena? Need daw ng friend ko 70 katao para sa (BBM). Libre foods, ticket, t-shirt, plus 200 pesos,” he wrote.
“Hanggang ngayong araw na ito e may mga black propaganda, yung mga cheap political gimmicks na kumakalat [Until this day there is black propaganda],” Rodriguez told reporters.
“This event is for free and this is the offer of Bongbong Marcos and Sara Duterte sa milyun-milyong supporters nila na hindi bumibitiw at higit pang dumarami by the day,” he added.
