Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto doesn’t seem to take his vice mayor Iyo Bernardo seriously.
During an interview with the media at the Pasig Bulwagan ng Katarungan, Bernardo answered questions regarding his cyber libel case against Sotto.
The presser was live-streamed on Facebook by Pasig News Today. It had thousands of viewers, one of which was Sotto, who had nothing but a laughing emoji to offer.
It also appeared that the locals didn’t take Bernardo seriously as well, given that the laughing emoji dominated the reactions.

Bernardo’s complaint stems from a flag ceremony held in January where Sotto asked him to “shun away from politicking” and “do his job first” before criticizing.
He admitted to feeling embarrassed during the said incident.
He refused to give the journalist a copy of the complaint and denied that the move is leverage for the upcoming elections where he seeks to dethrone Sotto.
Sotto also has yet to receive a copy of the complaint.
We will wait for the notice from the prosecutor,” he told reporters via text message.
