In a recent statement by actress and Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. supporter Elizabeth Oropesa regarding the accusations of artists performing at the BBM-Sara Duterte sorties are paid by large fees, she said, “Ipapuputol ko ‘yung dalawa kong paa.
On March 25, Oropesa expressed her thoughts about how artists come voluntarily to UniTeam’s rallies.

Some of VP Leni Robredo’s supporters reacted to the actress’s statement.
Talent manager-comedian Ogie Diaz was quick to make a witty tweet. He dared the actress that he’d be willing to cut his manhood if the former would amputate her legs.

Diaz is a frequent host to the Kakampink sorties.
Singer and theater actress Bituin Escalante rallied behind other performers and emphasized that they were not paid to perform, and none of them got compensated.

Director, screenwriter, and actor Rod Singh expressed her condolences to the supposed feet of Oropesa to be amputated.

Cutting off a part of a body, specifically, a portion of a little finger is a Japanese practice of the Yakuza called “Yubitsume” or finger shortening.
It is done as a form of atonement and showing remorse toward wrongdoing or bad act.
