Cavite 4th District Representative Elpidio Barzaga was disrespected by his own son during an event in Dasmariñas City.
Barzaga, who is the president of the National Unity Party (NUP), recently endorsed Vice President Leni Robredo while his son, Dasmariñas City councilor Kiko Barzaga, openly backs Bongbong Marcos.
At the launch of the Team Dasma over the weekend, the older Barzaga was rudely interrupted by his UniTeam-supporting offspring as he was delivering a speech.
His son hopped on stage, reached into his pockets, and pulled out papers that contained content about Robredo.
“Bakit Leni ‘to? Akala ko BBM tayo? the younger Barzaga said before chanting Marcos’ initials.
Elpidio proceeded to praise Robredo.
“Kapag siya ang naging pangulo, talagang magkakaroon tayo ng gobyernong tapat at aangat ang buhay ng lahat,” he said.
Albeit viewers cringed, the career politician was fine with his son’s stunt.
The disrespect Kiko Barzaga gave his father only show his true self. If he can brazenly disrespect his dad, you can expect that he’ll do the same to others.
To the people of Dasma, Cavite, please don’t waste your vote on this disrespectful person.
