Brothers Jake, Jacob Ejercito joined forces for Leni-Kiko’s house-to-house campaign in Sampaloc

In his tweet on April 17, he shared photos of him and his brother, Jacob, rounding up houses in Sampaloc, Manila, to convince people to vote for the Leni-Kiko tandem.

The sons of former president Joseph Ejercito Estrada with Laarni Enriquez are proving themselves as certified ‘Kakampink’s as they both joined the Tropang Angat’s house-to-house initiatives.

Also called the ‘Tao sa Tao’ campaign, the Leni-Kiko’s house-to-house initiative has attracted countless of volunteers ever since the presidential campaign season began.

The initiative has so far seen not just regular Filipino citizens, but also big stars hopping on the pink bandwagon. Over the past few weeks, the public witnessed the likes of Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano a.k.a. DonBelle, LGBTQIA+ personalities Mela Habidjan and Macoy Dubs who joined the call along with Gab Valenciano, and the Robredo sisters Aika and Tricia.

Jake Ejercito has been a familiar presence in various Leni-Kiko grand rallies. He has been very vocal about his presidential choice, amid the personal choices of his father and half-brothers, Jinggoy Ejercito and JV Ejercito.

In his tweet on April 17, he shared photos of him and his brother, Jacob, rounding up houses in Sampaloc, Manila, to convince people to vote for the Leni-Kiko tandem.

“Focus tayo! H2H Round 2 in Sampaloc, Manila with @_jacobsays #WithLeni #TaoSaTaoParaKayLeniKiko” his tweet reads. Ejercito was asking his fellow Kakampinks to remain unbothered amid the seemingly collective efforts of other presidentiables to undermine VP Robredo’s presidential bid.

Presidentiables, Manila City Mayor Isko Domagoso, Senator Ping Lacson, and former Defense Secretary Norberto Gonzales, held a press conference yesterday, April 17, where they asked Robredo to withdraw from her presidential bid.

The photos attached to his tweet showed him and his brother interacting with the people at their doorsteps. A housewife also seemingly invited them over for a meal at their dining table.

Fans and Kakampinks alike expressed their awe and admiration for the actor, and his efforts to reach out to those who have not yet chosen VP Leni Robredo, and Senator Kiko Pangilinan.

Dustine wondered where in Sampaloc did the brothers go. “Huy Jake, san sa Sampaloc to? Sad we wasted our time watching the presscon, better pa sana if nakita ka.(Where are these photos in Sampaloc? Sad we wasted our time watching the presscon. We should have waited for you instead),“ he said.

Caramiel, meanwhile, noted how the Ejercito brothers deflected from their father’s political choices.

I truly admire Jake for standing up and campaigning for VP Leni even though he’s an Ejercito and some of his relatives are supporting another candidate. He has posted before that he will vote VP Leni for Ellie and her good future,” his tweet reads.

Former President Estrada is a known supporter of the BBM-Sara tandem, alongside former president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo who led his ouster in 2001.
