Cebu’s biggest political party, One Cebu, hosted the BBM-Sara Uniteam proclamation rally in the province on Monday, April 18, which saw more than a dozen guest performers from showbiz.
The former dictator’s son and ex-senator Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr., and his running mate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte wooed the people of the most vote-rich province of the country through both talks with sing-and-dance performances.
The event got announced after Governor Gwen Garcia and her political party, One Cebu, officially endorsed the presidential and vice-presidential bid of the BBM-Sara tandem last week.

Cebuanos relished real concert performances from rally staples, as well as newbie performers who appeared at a BBM-Sara rally, for the first time.
The viral online trio Bugoy Drilon, Darryl Ong, and Michael Pangilinan a.k.a .BuDaKhel had their first appearance at a Uniteam campaign rally, as a group. They were joined by Katrina Velarde, who has been a constant feature, in their online performances. Rap artists, John Roa and DJ Loonyo, also worked their charm to bring the energy to the Cebuano people.
OPM bands Plethora and The Fridays Band serenaded the crowd with their most requested performances. Similarly, Kapuso hunks and dancers, Mark Herras and Rodjun Cruz, surely made the Cebuanos dance to the music and follow their sleek moves on the stage. Andrew E., who has been a constant guest performer in Bongbong’s presidential campaign, again appeared for another rap performance. Comedian and host, Bayani Agbayani, and former Pinoy Big Brother host Toni Gonzaga histed the event. Gonzaga’s younger sister Alex also graced the rally.
The star-studded proclamation rally took place at the City de Mare, Filinvest grounds, SRP Coastal Road in Cebu City. Both Marcos Jr. and Duterte-Carpio graced the event, which saw the entire One Cebu slate gathering together on the stage to endorse publicly UniTeam standard-bearers.
One Cebu also pledged its support to the son of the infamous dictator, Ferdinand Marcos Sr in 2016, but lost to Vice President Leni Robredo by 500,000 votes.
