Anthony Taberna addresses the controversy about him wearing a pink shirt

Taberna is also a known member of the INC. So when he wore a pink shirt in one of his live sessions, it baffled viewers.

Broadcaster Anthony Taberna confused voters when he wore a pink shirt during a live stream on April 29.

In less than two weeks left before the national elections, decisions linked with politics shocked the public–and recently, an alleged drug lord Kerwin Espinosa recanted his accusations against Sen. Leila de Lima.

Human rights groups believed that the latter got set up from the jump.

Also, Rep. Rodante Marcoleta abruptly dropped out of the UniTeam’s senatorial slate due to poor survey ratings. A member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC), Marcoleta’s move caused voters to believe that the church may eventually endorse Vice President Leni Robredo for president.

Taberna is also a known member of the INC. So when he wore a pink shirt in one of his live sessions, it baffled viewers.

He’s a vocal critic of Robredo, briefly addressed the netizens who “bashed” his outfit of the day.

“Nagpapapogi lang naman ako. Ok ba sa akin yung polo shirt ko. Alam na this mga kaibigan?” he jokingly said.

Even Jim Paredes got interested.

The INC endorsing a presidential bet is huge for any candidate. The church is able to deliver millions of votes given its influence on members.

Ka Tunying previously called on Robredo to apologize for asking her supporters to condemn the sex video links implicating her daughter Aika.

The links do not actually contain videos but are said to be harmful to devices that open them.

In a recent upload, Taberna said he is wearing a pink shirt and that the INC has yet to decide on whether to endorse a presidential aspirant.
