If she dies first, Lolit Solis would like to have her old dog Jokjok euthanized and cremated with her.
Due to her serious health problems, Solis has been more active on social media.
She recently checked out of the hospital and is on dialysis twice weekly. Her depression has worsened, but she tries her best to ignore her ailments.
“Alam mo ba Salve na hanggang ngayon hindi ko pa rin matanggap na may sakit ako. Nagpi-pretend nga ako na parang wala lang, pero kung minsan nadi-depress ako,” she wrote on Instagram.
The columnist is now unable to do the things she used to do.
“Hindi ko na magawa ang usual na ginagawa ko, naiba narin ang sked ko dahil sa dialysis.
“Isang araw dialysis, isang araw pahinga, twice a week na dialysis, plus dalawang araw pahinga, 4 days na agad nawala sa akin. Iba na talaga takbo ng buhay ko, iba na,” she added.

Her last wish would be to have her old dog Jokjok cremated with her if she passes away first.
“Sinabi ko na pag nauna ako kay Jokjok ang favorite dog ko, pa-sleep na siya at isama sa akin sa cremation ko.
“Dahil old dog na siya, sana mauna na lang ako at magsama na kami ni Jokjok. Hay naku, mga drama ko talaga, Salve at Gorgy, kaloka di ba!” she said.
And it also appears that Solis has accepted her situation instead of having it cloud her mind.
“Minsan tanggap ko, minsan parang naiinis ako, minsan nasa sad ako. Iyon bang sana noon mas bata ako nagkasakit, sana noon mas matibay pa katawan ko. Hindi ngayon na old na ako kaya parang madali ng manghina.
“I feel sad sometimes, pero tanggap ko rin na wala na akong magagawa, so ok na lang. Que sera sera na lang ang puwede kong maging reaction, ito ang binigay sa akin, so, tanggapin ko na lang,” she furthered.
However, in another post, she took another shot at actress Bea Alonzo.

Solis is notorious for rigging the 1994 Manila Film Festival, which resulted in Gabby Concepcion and Ruffa Gutierrez winning the Best Actor and Best Actress. Then-mayor Alfredo Lim was informed later that the supposed winners were Edu Manzano and Aiko Melendez.
In a 2021 interview with Ogie Diaz, Solis said she did it to save Concepcion’s career, which she managed at the time.
“That time, akala ko talaga ang magiging winner si Richard Gomez. Siyempre karibal ni Gabby eh. Di ko alam, si Edu Manzano pala ang mananalo dapat. Sabi ko, ‘ay hindi pwedeng Manalo si Richard, lalong babagsak si Gabby. So naisip kong siya dapat maging Best Actor,” she said.
“Pero kung alam ko si Edu mananalo ‘nun na di naman talagang direk na karibal ni Gabby, baka nagdalawang isip ako.” she added.
