Netizens are searching for Miss Manila 2020 winner Alexandra Abdon after Herlene “Hipon Girl” Budol snatched the most awards at the Binibining Pilipinas 2021.
Two years ago, Abdon appeared on “Wowowin: Tutok to Win” where Budol was one of the hosts.
She then slighted Budol by saying that the latter couldn’t win a beauty pageant even if her own mother organized it.
“Kahit magpa-pageant ang nanay ni Hipon sa bahay nila, hindi siya qualified. Yung standards, yung qualification, medyo tagilid tayo do’n,” Abdon said.
But Budol proved her wrong. She finished the Binibining Pilipinas 2021 as the first runner-up and the contestant with the most special awards, namely:
- Binibining Kumu
- Binibining Pizza Hut 2022
- Binibining Shein
- Binibining Silka
- Binibining World Balance
- JAG Queen
- Manila Bulletin Readers’ Choice Award
This was the first time Budol entered a pageant, and she impressed every viewer.

After efforts to unearth Abdon’s old posts, netizens found out that she has become inactive on social media. All her accounts are now private, including Instagram.
Netizens are even sending her private messages hoping she’d publicly apologize for what she said.

Abdon has yet to comment on Budol’s recent success.

Willie Revillame clarified before that Abdon already made amends to Budol over what she said.
“Iki-clear ko lang, si Hipon at si Miss Manila, hindi magkaaway yun. Nagkaayos na ho yun. Ganun lang naman nagkakabiruan sila. Kawawa naman si Miss Manila, wag naman i-bash. Sa totoo lang mabait na bata. Nung kumakain kami tahimik siya,” the host said.
“Sinabi naman na nagbibiro lang daw si Miss Manila… Wag na natin pansinin. Wag na natin palakihin ‘to… Sineryoso talaga yun ni Hipon. Medyo napikon talaga si Hipon. Nasaktan siya… Pinapupunta ko dito ngayon. Pinag-aayos ko sila ni Miss Manila.” he added.In a January 2021 vlog, Miss Manila showed Budol around Manila, and the two seemed to be on good terms.
