After noticing two major infractions, netizens couldn’t help but mock the level of production and writing given to ‘Mars Ravelo’s Darna The TV.’
The current main villain, General Borgo played by Richard Quan, appears to be made from cheap costume and CGI, but that’s not the worse part about it.
A scene in the film shows Borgo in his spaceship, but something seems off. During the fight with Darna, netizens noticed that a cheap gaming chair from China was included in the picture.
“Ambongga ng spaceship ni Heneral Borgo, may gaming chair na made in China hahahhahahahahahaha,” said comedian Beki Mon.
However, that was not the only scene that was panned. Borgo attempts to suffocate a hospital patient with a pillow in another scene, an unusual way for an extraterrestrial to murder someone.
Netizens called out the poor writing.

Meanwhile, deep kissing between Joshua Garcia and Janella Salvador went viral on social media. The scene reminded netizens of their previous love team.
Garcia was dubbed the “Higop King” the way he gave it his all.
