After 12 years with the GMA Network, field reporter Victoria Tulad will be leaving the Kapuso family.
On Friday, the journalist revealed her departure from the network in a Facebook post that shocked many of her fans and the Kapuso audience.
“Twelve years ago, GMA took a chance on me and helped me fulfill my childhood dream and for that, I will forever be grateful,” she wrote. She added, “Maraming salamat din po sa lahat ng nanood at nagtiwala. I hope to make you proud.”
As of this writing, her post has garnered over five thousand reactions, most of which are sad reactions.
The news was surprising to many as Tulad has been a common fixture on the network.
The reporting work that Victoria has done for GMA Network’s premier news shows, such as 24 Oras, Saksi, and State of the Nation with Jessica Soho, has made her recognizable.
Tulad was named the 7th hottest news reporter in the country by Spot PH earlier in her career.
In 2021, she gave birth to her daughter. She revealed she endured 16 hours of labor.

Tulad wrote on Instagram, “These past few days have been so hard with the excruciating wait and pain of being in labor for 16 hrs…none of these compare, though, to that moment when I heard Dani’s first cry. Nothing is more important than the fact that we get to hold her now, melt at all her expressions, and be filled with unexplainable love.”
She married her long-time boyfriend Hermund Rosales in March 2018.
