VP Sara Duterte was mocked for wearing a crop top at a Christmas party

Apparently, the party was Coachella-themed, hence Duterte’s decision to wear a crop top.

Vice President Sara Duterte has become viral after wearing a polarizing outfit to a Christmas party.

Duterte, who is 44 years of age, decided to wear a crop top to her party.

Sa totoo lang nahirapan talaga ako maghanap ng Coachella outfit that will comply to the dress protocol of public servants attending events- no sleeveless, no plunging, no shorts….but I wanted to be on the theme,” she told her employees.

Christmas is the time for love, forgiveness and sharing…Hindi importante na hindi malaki o magarbo ang ating celebration ng Pasko.

Apparently, the party was Coachella-themed, hence Duterte’s decision to wear a crop top. However, critics made fun of Duterte.

The party wasn’t fancy and was held at her office in Mandaluyong City.

The event did not feature any well-known celebrities or musicians. There were many prizes, some of which were cash, some of which were gaming prizes, and some of which were raffle prizes, much to the joy of her employees and volunteers. Some of the rewards were contributed by friends, while others were paid for out of the Vice President’s own money. She even brought her son Stingray, who played party games.

Christmas is a time of forgiveness.
