The real-life sweethearts admitted that while they felt uncomfortable seeing each other doing intimate scenes with other partners, small issues like “selosan” (jealousy) were easily resolved because of their professionalism.
Starring in one of the three films that serve as banner projects under the landmark collaboration deal between Star Magic and MAVX Productions, Kapamilya and Star Magic talents, RK Bagatsing and Jane Oineza, cleared some issues revolving around their daring movie, Swing. The upcoming film tackles the unconventional practice of “swinging” in a relationship or marriage, where partners engage in sex with other people.
During the press conference for the three-film collaboration held last January 6, Bagatsing admitted that there were real moments of “jealousy” when they filmed ‘Swing’ in Switzerland last year.
The actor shared, “I think nakatulong din na mayroon kaming debriefing after every cut of scenes…and siyempre hindi mawawala na may selos nang konti.”
Bagatsing also shared that even before heading to Switzerland for the shoot, the team made sure that everyone was well-prepared to work professionally and perform the demands of the film.
“Ayaw naming pumunta sa Switzerland na may gray area sa bawat kwento or sa character. Parang kumbaga, we wanted to be clear kung anong level of commitment ang kailangan at kung kaya naming ibigay,” Bagatsing shared.
Oineza, meanwhile, mentioned that they were very professional when it comes to doing their daring sequences with other actors. She said that she felt very lucky for doing the project with her real-life sweetheart, RK Bagatsing.
She emphasized, “Eh ganon naman talaga, siyempre buti nga magkasama kami sa project, kasi eventually naman, we’re very professional and we’re open to working with other people. So, as being together na ganito rin ang concept or story, I’m lucky that I am working with my love.”
‘Swing’ also features several Swiss actors, some of whom had love scenes within the film. Bagatsing recalled how things went seamlessly on the set, because of the presence of an “intimacy coach” who made sure everybody was comfortable and not going beyond the limitations set for their scenes.
