Social media influencer Whamos Cruz has been praised once again by netizens after he gifted three of his aunts P30,000 each after learning they had lost their jobs.
To his aunts’ surprise, Cruz gave them P8,000 more each for their spending.
“DAHIL WALA NA KAYONG WORK AKO NA BAHALA SA PANG NEGOSYO NYO #WHAMOSCRUZ,” Cruz said in a video.
Cruz said the amount was for them to start a business.
“Talagang pinapunta ko sila rito sa bahay kasi nalaman ko na wala nang trabaho ‘yong mga tita ko. Kaya pinapunta ko agad-agad. Actually, kagabi ko lang nalaman kaya kinontak ko sila… para bigyan ng pang-negosyo para kahit wala silang trabaho meron silang pagkakakitaan,” he added.
Cruz has always been generous, which is why his fans can’t get enough of him.
Most recently, Cruz made peace with Dolly del Rosario, the mother of his girlfriend Antonette Gail.
In a video, Cruz offered Del Rosario P50,000 so she could also start a business.
A grateful Del Rosario then kissed Cruz on the cheek.
It’s worth recalling that the mother objected to the relationship between Cruz and her daughter when the latter was still a minor.
When her daughter, Gail eloped with Cruz, she turned to Sen. Raffy Tulfo for assistance.
“Pero naintindihan ko naman si Mommy sa part na yun dahil as anak niya, ayaw niya akong mapahamak. Tapos nagpaano kasi siya sa mga ibang tao, nagpahatak siya, nagpadala siya,” del Rosario said.
Gail del Rosario and Whamos Cruz recently welcomed their first child Adriel Meteor.
“Noong nasa ospital ako nandoon siya tapos inaayos niya yung mga… Naiyak na din siya eh…Siyempre kahit madami kaming problemang pinagdaanan dati, alam nyo naman na yun eh, andami ngang nagbabash sa kanya eh, kahit nga nagva-vlog ‘to ang mga comment nyong ganun tinatanggap niya,” del Rosario revealed.
Cruz has millions of followers across various social media platforms. He started as a dancer at the barangay level and worked his way up to appearing on variety shows until he became a fixture on social media.
