The surprising performance delighted many netizens who got reminded of being part of the ‘Pink’ campaign during the last election.
The 2022 national election season may have come to an end, but to some, especially to those who backed Leni Robredo’s presidential campaign, the spirit that united and moved them remains the same.
That’s true for netizens who got surprised and delighted by an elementary student, who performed the campaign song ‘Rosas’, during the Pinoy Henyo segment of the noon time show, Eat Bulaga, last April 21.
On Twitter, @JillyyyBear was one of the first to share a clip of the performance.
“A contestant in Pinoy Henyo sang Rosas in front of J**y D* Le**. He was looking at that kid differently,” her tweet reads.

Named Erickson, the boy performed the song, when asked by the host to give a ‘sample’ performance.
“nakakatuwa naman ‘yung bata na kasali sa pinoy henyo ng eat bulaga, pina kanta siya, tapos kinanta niya ‘yung rosas,” @lavmigy said in his tweet.
