The Facebook post of the police in Alamada, North Cotabato, reporting the discovery of a missing 18-year-old girl, has gone viral.
According to the report, she was with her boyfriend.
“Nawawalang dalaga natagpuang Nagmamahal,” said Cppo Alamada Mps.
On May 22, the young woman’s parents approached the police to report her missing.
Within less than a day, the police were able to obtain information about her whereabouts.
At the police station, the girl allegedly stated that she willingly left with her boyfriend.
The man was not charged with any legal complaints since the girl’s parents supported their relationship.
Policeman Bernard Abarquez said, “Wag po kayo mag-alala may consent po kay Ma’am at Sir yong post at the same time hindi po tutol ang tatay sa relasyon. Kaya wag na po tayong bitter. Nagmamahalan po sila.”
