Netizens slam Vlogger for slandering ₱85-buffet restaurant over lack of longganisa

Food vlogger Laine Bernardo received backlash from netizens after reviewing an ₱85-buffet restaurant, stating that no longganisa was served.

Netizens reacted to Bernardo’s comments, calling her “Longganisa Girl” and criticizing her for claiming that the buffet was not worth visiting due to the absence of longganisa, when the menu only offered fish, vegetables, and dried fish for the healthy breakfast buffet.

After being criticized and called out by the public, Bernardo apologized for her comments.

“Alam ko na nagkamali talaga ako at na-disappoint ko ang ilan sa inyo. Ako ay personal nang humingi ng paumanhin at pasensya sa owner ng Emriz noong na-realize ko ‘yung pagkakamali ko,” she said.

The incident served as a lesson for Bernardo, and she expressed gratitude to her followers for correcting her.

“Kung wala ‘yung mga viewers ko, walang Laine Bernardo. Napakahalaga no’n sa’kin lahat, mapa-viewers ko, ‘yung mga small business na bina-vlog ko, kaya patuloy kong gagawin lahat para mas lalong mapaganda at mapabuti ‘yung mga videos na gagawin ko.
