Buboy Tamayo Villar, Jr. (born March 21, 1998) is a Filipino actor and comedian.
Buboy Villar has denied leaving the noontime show ‘Eat Bulaga’.
Filipino talk show host, Cristy Fermin shared the rumor on her show Cristy Ferminute.
Fermin alleged that the show’s schedule conflicts with Villar’s.
“Mahigpit na rin daw ang kanyang schedule dahil nagko-host pa siya kay Boobay,” she said.
“May gagawin pa daw siyang isang teleserye, kasama daw talaga siya don,” she added.
Fermin also said that another reason Villar wants to leave is the bashing he receives from viewers.
“Si Buboy kasi, inuna nitong batang ito ang kayabangan eh… ang porma kasi ni Buboy, mayabang talaga eh, meron na talagang angas ‘tong batang ‘to eh kaya siya tinitirador,” he said.
However, during a June 14 episode, Villar himself dispelled the rumors.
Fellow host Paolo Contis brought up the rumor first, noting that Villar was nowhere to be found in the hosts’ lineup.
“Mga Dabarkads, baka napansin n’yo… Okay, tahimik po tayo… May kulang sa atin ngayon. Kailangan na nating pag-usapan ‘to. Kahapon po, lumabas na yung balita na yung isang kasama natin, si Buboy, ay tumawag sa TAPE para mag-quit,” Contis said before Villar popped out.
“Anong magku-quit?!” said Villar.
“Sorry, Dabarkads, ha. Sumakit lang yung panubigan ko. Sorry, pantog pala. Ayan ang mahirap kasi sa ‘yo, Paolo, masyado kang naniniwala sa fake news. Tuloy ang pagpapasaya natin!” he said.
On June 9, former Manila mayor Isko Moreno was added to the host roster.
