Former flight attendant Abegail Rait, who recently garnered widespread attention after disclosing her past relationship with the late rapper Francis Magalona, has raised eyebrows due to her decision to enter the Barangay Elections.
Following her viral story on social media, Abegail Rait has announced her intention to pursue a career in public service by running as a barangay official in Imus, Cavite.

Abegail became the subject of public fascination when she revealed that she had a child with Francis Magalona prior to his passing in 2009.
She also introduced her child, who is purportedly the youngest offspring of the late rapper.
In addition to her disclosures, she sold a signed jersey she had received from Francis for a sum of P500,000. Her intention was to have the buyer cherish the jersey and keep it as a memento, reminding them of her whenever they missed her.
She believed that the jersey would not be sold to anyone else because Jayson Luzadas of ‘Pinoy Pawnstar,’ the person to whom she sold it, was planning to utilize it in a museum to exhibit his collections.
As of now, the Magalona family has not issued any statements in response to Abegail Rait’s recent revelations or her aspirations for a political career.
