Veteran actress Elizabeth Oropesa has raised a red flag and issued a warning to her friends and followers regarding the security of automated teller machine (ATM) transactions after she experienced an unsettling incident where money went missing during an ATM withdrawal in Quezon City.
In a Facebook post dated October 4, Oropesa shared her experience and urged the public to exercise caution and vigilance when using ATMs to avoid encountering similar issues.
She mentioned that the bank’s management has initiated an investigation into the matter. Importantly, Oropesa stressed that she had not misplaced her ATM card, making the situation all the more perplexing.
Prompted by a friend’s inquiry about the incident, Oropesa clarified that she indeed did not receive any cash during the transaction, yet her account balance was inexplicably reduced.
The comments section of her Facebook post revealed that other individuals had faced similar issues, thereby reinforcing the significance of being cautious when conducting ATM transactions to ensure both the safety and accuracy of financial dealings.
