After a decade and a half since the passing of the ‘Master Rapper,’ Francis Magalona, revelations have come to light confirming long-standing rumors surrounding his relationship with a former flight attendant, Abegail Rait.
She recently acknowledged their romantic involvement, which resulted in the birth of their child, Gail Francheska.
On October 17, Abegail disclosed the details of her relationship with Francis, which she had kept quiet about for the past 15 years.
She expressed that she believed it was time to come forward for the sake of her daughter. Despite the potential for judgment from the public, she emphasized the authenticity of their connection and the love Francis had for her and their child.
In the wake of Abegail’s revelation, netizens recalled a statement made by Francis Magalona’s close friend and colleague, Joey de Leon, back in 2009.
Joey mentioned that he had received a text message from Francis shortly before the rapper’s passing but opted not to divulge its contents.
He stated that he deleted the message to protect the secret it held.
Joey hinted that the text message was a dying wish from Francis and assured that he would eventually reveal its contents when the time was right.
“One thing na puwede kong ibigay na clue, dying wish ’yon. Hintayin lang muna nating humupa ang sitwasyon, sasabihin ko rin kung ano ’yung text message niya sa akin,’’ he said.
This revelation has led many to speculate that the message Francis sent to Joey was likely connected to his family, particularly Abegail.
