Alden Richards recently took to Facebook to express his gratitude towards service driver Alexis Verdejolo Ohno, who exhibited honesty by returning the lost phone of the actor’s cousin.
In a post on November 8, Richards shared a photo alongside Ohno and commended him for his commendable deed.
The actor recounted how he was informed about the lost phone by the gym caretaker, prompting him to track down its location.
“To cut the story short, I had a call from an unknown number, not knowing kung sino ‘yun, sinagot ko. Nagulat ako na siya pala yung service driver na nasakyan ng pinsan ko going to the gym,” Richards recalled.
Despite not disclosing his identity, Richards asked Ohno if he could retrieve the phone. Ohno willingly traveled from Bulacan to Podium, putting in the effort to return the lost item, even though Richards had film screenings for ‘Five Breakups and a Romance.’
Richards expressed his gratitude, saying, “Mabuhay ka! Sana marami pang tao ang tumulad sayo. Maraming maraming salamat”
Ohno received praises from netizens in the comments section of Richards’ post. Meanwhile, Alden Richards and Julia Montes’ film ‘Five Breakups and a Romance’ has surpassed the P60 million mark in gross sales, marking their first big-screen collaboration under the direction of Irene Villamor.
