Actor Anthony Jennings recently shared a light-hearted moment during his meeting with Maris Racal’s partner, Rico Blanco, injecting humor into their interaction.
The exchange took place during an intimate press gathering arranged by Star Magic, Jennings’ talent agency. With Blanco’s visit to the set where Jennings was working, the two managed to engage in conversation, with Jennings seizing the opportunity to inject some humor into the encounter.
“Sabi ko nga, ‘Gusto mo, mag-love triangle tayo, bro?'” Anthony recalled, referring to his playful banter with the acclaimed singer, who has been romantically involved with Jennings’ on-screen counterpart for quite some time.
Reflecting on the meeting, Anthony emphasized that they shared a friendly rapport. “Nag-usap kami saglit. Wala naman. Tropa lang din naman ang turingan namin. Paano ako nag-i-interact sa ibang tao, ganoon din naman. Lahat ‘yun pantay-pantay ang tingin ko,” Anthony remarked.
Acknowledging Maris and Rico’s enduring relationship, Jennings underscored his respect for their bond, echoing the commitment he holds in his own five-year relationship with his non-showbiz girlfriend.
“Happy ako na nakausap ko siya. Nagka-kilala kami sa [ABS-CBN] ball. Natatawa silang dalawa, ‘yung girlfriend ko at si Rico. Natutuwa din sila sa eksena namin ni Maris,” he added.
Jennings and Maris currently captivate audiences as Irene and Snoop, affectionately known as SnoRene, in the hit television series ‘Can’t Buy Me Love.’ Their on-screen chemistry has propelled them to become one of the most beloved TV couples.
As their popularity continues to soar, they have been presented with more opportunities, including co-starring as the main leads in Darren Espanto’s music video for ‘Iyo.’
