Mark Andrew Yulo, father of two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo, remains hopeful that his son will reconcile with their family despite ongoing issues.
Carlos recently moved out of the family home to live with his girlfriend, Chloe San Jose, which has caused tension within the Yulo household.
In a recent Facebook Live session hosted by Carlos’s brother, Karl Eldrew Yulo, their father expressed his optimism that Carlos will return to the family. During the session, some netizens urged Karl not to follow his brother’s example, particularly regarding their mother, Angelica Yulo.
Mark has publicly expressed his frustrations with Carlos and Chloe, accusing them of not responding to his calls and messages. His frustration stems from accusations made by the couple, who alleged that Angelica misused Carlos’s finances. Mark denies the claims and has attempted to contact his son, but without success.
The family tension was further heightened when Mark commented on Carlos’s recent Facebook post, where the gymnast announced his return to Paris for professional commitments. Mark urged his son to apologize to his mother for the accusations, writing, “Masaya ako sa narating mo, nak.
Despite the ongoing family drama, Mark remains hopeful that his relationship with Carlos will eventually be restored.
