Angelica Yulo named ‘Distinct Mother of the Year’ at Gawad Dangal Filipino Awards

With this string of awards, Yulo solidifies her status as an inspirational figure and a pillar of strength behind her son’s athletic success.

Angelica Yulo, mother of two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo, was recently honored as the ‘Distinct Mother of the Year’ at the Gawad Dangal Filipino Awards.

The ceremony took place on October 22 at a hotel in Las Piñas, where Yulo was recognized for her exceptional contributions as a mother.

The award is part of the Gawad Dangal Filipino Awards’ recognition of the ‘Philippines Distinct Men and Women of Excellence’ across various fields.

Angelica accepted the prestigious honor alongside her husband, Mark Andrew Yulo.

This latest accolade adds to a growing list of recognitions for Yulo’s dedication to motherhood.

On September 14, she received the ‘Inspiring Motherhood Legacy Award’ from the Southeast Asian Achievement Awards (SEAAA).

Earlier in October, she was also named ‘Most Exceptional Woman of the Year’ at the Asia’s Man & Woman of the Year Excellence Awards held at Crowne Plaza Galleria Manila in Ortigas.

Despite facing challenges and controversies surrounding her son Carlos and his partner Chloe San Jose, Angelica Yulo continues to be celebrated for her resilience and unwavering support for her family.
