The Tatler Ball is an annual event that celebrates individuals who have made significant contributions in their respective fields.
This year, the Impact Awards recognized four trailblazers whose work resonates beyond the Philippines:
- Dr. Erika Fille Legara, for Science and Technology, for her groundbreaking advancements in data science and artificial intelligence.
- Cherrie Atilano, for Humanity, for her transformative work in sustainable agriculture.
- Martha Sazon, CEO of GCash, for Business, for revolutionizing digital payments.
- Carlos Yulo, for Culture, for bringing honor to the country through his extraordinary achievements in gymnastics.
Yulo’s impact goes beyond his Olympic gold medals. The gymnast, hailed as one of the Philippines’ most accomplished athletes, has become a symbol of perseverance and excellence. He continues to inspire aspiring athletes to pursue their dreams while advocating for stronger support for the local sports community.
The evening also highlighted Yulo’s personal life, as he was joined by his partner, Chloe San Jose, at the ceremony.
