Actress Kathleen Hermosa has once again voiced her concerns over the trendy Labubu Dolls, urging fans and collectors to be cautious about the toys’ origins.
In a recent Instagram post, Hermosa, known for her outspoken views, shared that her research into the dolls’ background left her uneasy.
According to Hermosa, the dolls, which are based on Nordic mythology, were described by their creator as a “devil’s pet”—a detail she found concerning. In an earlier post, she shared a video highlighting this background, captioning it, “Be vigilant, guys,” in an effort to raise awareness among her followers.
In her latest post, Hermosa addressed both supportive and critical comments she received regarding her warning. “This will be the last time I’ll discuss this, not as a content creator, but as a concerned netizen,” she clarified. She explained that her goal wasn’t to cause fear but to share her personal perspective.
“I’m happy that these dolls bring joy to people,” Hermosa said. “I have no hidden motive but to simply share my beliefs, which might differ from yours, and that’s okay.” She went on to explain that after her research, she found certain symbols associated with the dolls troubling, particularly an image of the toy featuring the number “666.” “It’s not that I don’t like it,” Hermosa explained, “but that’s how the enemy works,” implying her belief that negative influences can infiltrate subtly.
She urged followers to do their own research, emphasizing that her message wasn’t meant to instill fear. “I’m just reminding you to be cautious. Let’s guard our hearts, minds, body, and soul against anything that could disrupt our peace,” she added.
