Jobert Sucaldito seems to still hold a grudge against ABS-CBN even after saying,, “In my heart I am for the #notoshutdown dahil marami pa ring mga good people inside na di naman kasali as mga isyu namin,” in one of his recent Facebook posts.
After critics of ABS-CBN pointed out that the media giant is using the unemployment of their 11,000 employees to get more sympathy from the public, Sucaldito tried to add fuel to the fire.
He wanted the public to remember the time when ABS-CBN fired a great number of their employees, including him but mainly cameramen.
This mass firing actually made it to the news, and the network took a lot of heat from it.
“Nung pinatawag ng mga bosses ang maraming cameramen sa isang five-star hotel and were served the best lunch in the world and after nilang kumain tsaka ibinigay ang walking papers nila. Masakit iyon sobra!!!!
Jobert said.
Jobert pointed out that some actors who previously worked for ABS-CBN were screwed and left jobless as well after getting exploited.

Jobert and his lawyer Atty. Ferdinand Topacio previously filed a complaint with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) against DZMM earlier this March for an alleged “Illegal” dismissal from his radio show Showbuzz.
This happened when he decided to defend Ricky Lo by hurling attacks at Nadine Lustre’s mental health, which saw his immediate suspension.
DZMM stated that there was nothing illegal about his suspension, as it was done through a standard procedure, plus the columnist was even handed the opportunity to give a detailed explanation of his attacks on the Kapamilya actress.
“Jobert Sucaldito’s contract as an anchor of the DZMM program Showbuzz was suspended, as is standard procedure, while he is under investigation due to the remarks he made on-air about actress Nadine Lustre’s mental health.
“It is not true that he was illegally dismissed from his post. He was also given due process and was able to explain his side on the matter,” DZMM said in a statement.
Jobert was never perfect himself as DZMM said he has violated terms previously that required an investigation.
“This is not the first time that Mr. Sucaldito has been investigated for violations of the network’s standards and ethics manual, the KBP Broadcast Code, and provisions of his contract. Nevertheless, the network assures the public that his case is being handled with fairness and integrity and in adherence to the law,” DZMM added.
Jobert has had a lot of issues in the past, one was with Willie Revilliame when the veteran TV host of Wowowee threatened to resign if the network refused to fire the columnist.
Prior to the Nadine Lustre situation, his most recent beef was with singer Morissette Amon who had walked out of a concert he had produced for one of his talents. Jobert’s infamy rose to another level when he humiliated Erik Santos and his talent manager Erickson Raymundo.
“January 7, 2020 pa lang ay di na ako pinapasok sa program ko sa DZMM because of the Nadine Lustre issue na iyon. Ang masaklap, pinag-apologize nila ako the day after my commentary then di na ako pinag-show,” Jobert said.
Station manager Marah Capuyan asked Jobert to sign his own suspension on January 10, and the latter was offended which prompted him to file a complaint with the DOLE.
“Gago ba ako para pirmahan iyon? Pinapunta ako para tanggalin ang sarili ko. Ginago ako, di ba? Hindi ako ulol, ‘oy! Kaya wala akong choice kungdi ang ireklamo sila sa DOLE dahil kahit contractual ako, 17 years akong nagsilbe sa DZMM and almost 20 years sa ABS-CBN. Ilalaban ko lang ang karapatan ko and nothing more.”
The politics within the network is bigger than what most people think, says Jobert.
Mabuti na lang at showbiz ang beat namin kaya we can sometimes play with words.
“Kaya stop the drama. Ilaban na lang ninyo legally ang pagbabalik ng ABS-CBN – stop using the people as human shields.
Netizens know Jobert is only playing the role of a victim here, and are not buying his ‘expose’ of ABS-CBN.
“And the PIPINO QUEEN has spoken ahaha.
Jobert playing the victim is just hard for people to believe at this point, especially since he seems to be attacking celebrities who are passionate about defending ABS-CBN, like Coco Martin.

Some time ago, televangelist Apollo Quiboloy responded to Vice Ganda telling him to be more careful with his words, or bad things were going to happen, for instance the conclusion of FPJ’s Ang Probinsiyano, or even worse the end of ABS-CBN.
A netizen did a whole post on this and Jobert couldn’t help but share it.
