Did Mocha Uson’s manager violate ECQ guidelines to interview Coco Martin in front of ABS-CBN?

• He said that he went there to “interview” Coco Martin.

While most people are following the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) guidelines to prevent the spreading of COVID-19, a pro-Duterte vlogger ‘Banat By’ seems to have the freedom to go out as he wishes amid a pandemic.

One of whom is Banat By, Mocha Uson’s manager and a social media personality known for his posts to promote and defend President Rodrigo Duterte and his allies.

On May 9, Byron Cristobal (Banat By’s real name) traveled to the ABS-CBN Compound in Quezon City for no important reason. He just wanted to challenge and confront Coco Martin, who recently expressed his frustrations towards the government.

It was clear that he violated the ECQ rules and he didn’t even get to face the FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano actor as ABS-CBN’s operations are currently on hold, which means that artists and most employees alike are not even in the compound.

ABS-CBN shut down on May 5 after the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) issued a cease and desist order against the network, forcing it to cease operations for all of its physical broadcasting channels.

This was following the expiration on May 4 of the network’s congressional franchise that permitted it to broadcast. The franchise was in the process of renewal but had however been delayed due to politics and the pandemic.
