- The statement has been all over the online community after the Kapamilya star stated it in ABS-CBN’s Laban Kapamilya Facebook Live.
- Kim took no offense at the meme and joined netizens in making jokes and songs with her words as lyrics.
Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque cited Kapamilya star Kim Chiu’s viral “bawal lumabas” statement which has now been used by netizens as a form of a meme.
Kim went viral a few days ago for her statement during the Laban Kapamilya Facebook Live to protest against the cease and desist order from the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC).
The statement of the star got so viral that it reached the Palace.
During Harry Roque’s briefing on May 18, he made a comment about the huge number people of who headed to the malls after the enhanced community quarantine was lifted.
He pointed out that people were disregarding the social distancing measures as if the COVID-19 does not exist.
With this premise, he cited the viral statement of Kim Chiu.
But Kim didn’t take the memes as a negative thing. In fact, she even made a song about it.
