John Regala is still a mess. His real attitude has recently been revealed by the daughter of the taxi driver he physically harmed in 2008.
The victim was identified as Rafael Sabuhala, whom Regala beat out of anger in a heated confrontation.
In the video taken right after the incident, the actor is seen with a grin on his face. Regala alleged that Sabuhala even tried to extort money from him so it was enough for him to get beat up.
But witnesses told a different story. They said that Regala was already hitting Sabuhala in the middle of the road even before the cops came.
In a post by Chuckie Dreyfus’ wife Aileen, a certain Znhav Smiley Orendain commented that she was the taxi driver’s daughter. She said that Regala still has the same attitude that he had in 2008.
She stressed that Regala is good for nothing.
“Being sick is not an excuse to be not grateful…it only shows kung gaano sya kawalang kwentang tao! I’m not surprised kc the way he treats my dad during their old road incident is the same person with the same attitude that you guys are experiencing right now,” she said.
“I’m praying n maliwanagan si Mr. Tulfo kung anong klaseng tao ang tinutulungan nya. Huwag sana kau matalisod sa pagtulong sa kapwa. God will bless and return all the favor to those who have a pure heart.” she added.
She described the 2008 incident as the “most painful feeling.”
She was an OFW at the time and couldn’t do anything about it.
Sabuhala is now 68 and in good health, while Regala had just recovered.
“My dad won the case and he never gets any single cents from Mr. Regala. Forward 2020, my dad is blessed with good health at 68 years old he never had a serious illness or medication (sic).”
Regala has also been labeled as an ingrate after he complained to Raffy Tulfo about not receiving more money from his celebrity friends after his treatment at a hospital.
Regala and his assistant Bem Santillan Torres claimed that he had not received a fund breakdown but just copies of hospital and bank receipts.
However, Aileen hit back.
She said that Regala’s bank account had nothing in it.
“The remaining cash amounting to ₱115,151.20 was deposited into your personal Metrobank account kaya zero-zero balance na ang BDO joint account under Nadia and Aster’s name. Ganon ka simple,” she said.
She further emphasized that the donations from Vic Sotto and Senator Bong Revilla went directly to Regala and they never handled that money.
“We have no access to the donations from Vic Sotto and Bong Revilla because it was all given to you and NOT THROUGH US. The donations of Jinggoy Estrada, concerned citizens, and a few notable personalities that passed through us were all accounted for. Kung may mga nag donate na wala sa list namin, ibig sabihin, wala kaming nakuha, wala kaming kinalaman, and wala kaming access.”
“To answer: ₱90K – Given to Bem Santillan Torres by Nadia at NKTI from the cash donations for hospital bills.
₱47,600 ($1,000) – money from ex-wife Au Manansala-Hunt that was sent via Western Union that Bem Santillan Torres withdrew.
₱10,000 – donation from Liza D that was deposited to the BDO joint account of Nadia and Aster.
₱20,000 – donation from Cong. Ong that was given to John.
TOTAL: ₱167,600”
She then advised Regala to just use the money for his treatment and stop making up stories.
“So please Mr. Regala, stop making up stories. Magpagaling ka na lang and use the remaining cash donations that we deposited (kung meron pa) for your medications. Gastusin mo sa tama.
“Ano pang patunay ang pinagsasasabi mo? Isa-isahin mo at tignan mong mabuti. May pa burden of proof ka pa, eh ikaw na ang burden ngayon!” she said.
