Watching the finest actors and one of the best directors direct and star in the same movie is like a dream, right? Well, they are going to star in one movie that is worth $70 million dollars, which ironically promotes the City of Dreams.
The short film which is about a director asking two of his most favorite actors audition for the lead part of a movie. The director is played by Academy Award winning Martin Scorsese, who also is the director of the short film, and the two actors from different generations are Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro. The trailer features Studio City, which, according to Globe News Wire, costs $3.2 billion US dollars. Also featured in the trailer is Brad Pitt shown in billboards. His role? That we will only know once the movie will be released mid-time this year.
Produced by Melco Crown Entertainment, RatPac Entertainment, and Brett Ratner, the movie is expected to become a historic event as it features big names in Hollywood.
Entitled “The Audition”, the movie will mostly highlight Studio City “Asia’s ‘next generation’ of immersive, world-leading, entertainment-driven gaming and leisure destination experiences”, according to Lawrence Ho, Co-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Melco Crown Entertainment.
