- ABS-CBN unveils its plans for the next year.
- It will also start two new teleseryes starting early next year.
Never say never! ABS-CBN’s request for a fresh 25-year franchise may have been rejected by Congress a few months ago, but it did not stop the network from providing their viewers content and shows to look forward to.
Right now, one of the most awaited shows by the Kapamilya network is the new installment of the Pinoy Big Brother series. PBB Connect revealed two of its future housemates via the show’s partner app, Kumu.
They are Kobie Brown, “Ang Charming Striker ng Paranaque”, and Jie-Ann Armero, “Ang Kwelang Fangirl ng Sarangani.”
The rest of the housemates will be revealed one by one until Saturday and on Sunday, their story inside the PBB house will finally start.
Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) has been on-air for 29 years already and continues to show quality stories from real-life experiences of Filipinos.
The show also has exciting plans up its sleeve as they’re set to air the second part of frontliner Dr. Israel Bactol’s story on December 5. The episode starts Arjo Atayde, Sylvia Sanchez, and Jane de Leon.
In the week after that, MMK will feature the story of a fisherman named Layot, who will be played by Nonie Buencamino, and his son Maro, played by Joshua Garcia. Layot and Maro have different dreams in life and the story shows what they did and how they worked hard in hopes of reaching their goals together.
The drama doesn’t stop there as MMK will air Vagelyn Tumbaga-Pacio’s story in January 2021. Played by Angel Locsin, the story of Vagelyn revolves around her experiences and career as the successful Filipino HR Director of one of the most successful hotels in Dubai.
ABS-CBN will then serve two brand new shows next year.
The first one is the inspirational drama Huwag Ka Mangamba starring Andrea Brillantes, Francine Diaz, Seth Fedelin, and Kyle Echarri. The second show will be titled Init sa Magdamag. It will star well-known Kapamilya celebrities like Gerald Anderson, JM de Guzman, and Yam Concepcion.
Other than the Kapamilya network’s new shows, their ongoing series such as FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, Ang Sa Iyo Ay Sa Akin, Walang Hanggang Paalam, Bagong Umaga, Paano Kita Pasasalamatan, Iba ‘Yan, and I Can See Your Voice can still be watched via different platforms.
Magandang Buhay, It’s Showtime, and ASAP Natin ‘To will also continue entertaining and inspiring its viewers.
The shows can be watched via the A2Z channel, Kapamilya Online Live on YouTube, and at the ABS-CBN Entertainment page on Facebook.
